Contactless Car Selling During Coronavirus

Customer and employee safety are both absolute priorities for us during these challenging times. Please remember, we come to you!

What we will ensure for you:

  1. All inspections and collections will be compliant with government social distancing guidelines (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19)
  2. Protective clothing including masks and gloves will be worn on each appointment
  3. During vehicle inspection / collection, where possible there will be NO CONTACT between you and the vehicle inspector 
  4. Paperwork will be processed at a safe distance, remotely or via resealable bags
  5. No cash payments will be made, with 100% instant cleared funds bank transfer to be applied

What we ask of you:

  1. Where possible, please clean and sanitise your vehicle's keys, door handles, steering wheel, gear stick, petrol cap and all other touch-points prior to vehicle inspection and vehicle collection. 
  2. Please ensure that you assist our Buyers with social distancing guideline adherence 
  3. Where possible, please utilise protective gloves and masks

SellCar Process During Coronavirus

  1. Enquire Online and Accept Provisional Offer (on screen when you enquire or via the link in the Provisional Offer Email)
  2. We will then call you to discuss and explain our process in more detail
  3. Many of the finer details will then be confirmed remotely via phone, email or WhatsApp ensuring a faster and safer final agreement on the day of inspection.

The Market

It will take time for the car market to get back to where it was prior to COVID-19. SellCar will continue to provide online estimates for ALL enquiries (that comply with age and mileage parameters) but these estimates are subject to market supply and demand. As such, we cannot guarantee to buy every vehicle offered to us.
